Ever wanted to get up close to a real, living bike mechanic? LBNZ Workshop gives you the chance. 

 

At the moment we offer three different sections of classes on basic build and maintenance.

 

1. Build101

   

Time: 60mins.

 

Content:

- welcome and introduction

- introduction about workshop tools which need for this lesson

- explain the function of Handlebars, Stems, Headsets, Brakes and show how to take them apart from a bike

- practise time

- show how to put the above parts together

- practise time

 

The lesson should give you a better understanding of the handlebar, stem, headset and brake parts of the bike. You will gain a basic knowledge of how to put them apart and assemble together on your own.

 

2. Build102

   

Time: 60mins

 

Content:

- Welcome and introduction

- introduction about workshop tools which need for this lesson

- explain the function of Seat, Crankset, Chain, wheels and show how to take them apart from a bike

- practise time

- show how to put the above parts together

- practise time

 

The lesson should give you a better understanding of the seat, crankset, chain, and wheel parts of the bike. You will gain a basic knowledge of how to put them apart and assemble together on your own.

 

3. Wheels101

   

Time: 40mins

 

Content:

- Welcome and introduction

- Getting a tire on and off

- Using a puncture repair kit

- Types of punctures and how they occur

- Taking your wheel on and off

 

After this Wheels101 class, you will be able to work out the solution on your own once there’s a puncture happens and you’ll be more self sufficient on the road.

**All class is One on One private class so that nobody is left out in the cold**

 

**Family welcomed! However we only allow one adult + one child at one time due to our limit workshop space**
